the effects this is having (or may have) on the area
You must complete your report by suggesting what you think should be done in the future. Think about how much your suggestions might cost, and the balance between preserving the environment and providing money and jobs for local people.
Your finished report must show evidence of personal research. It may be handwritten or produced on a computer; it should include information other than just writing e.g. maps, photos, data etc. Remember that it is a report - not a leaflet or poster. It must be presented on A4 paper and should be between 4 and 6 sides long, printed on one side of the paper only. Good luck!!
Entry Form
Pupils may attempt the project in pairs or in a group with up to 3 other pupils. Entries are welcomed from pupils working in school or in their own time. Whether attempted at home or at school, an entry form must be completed by a teacher at the pupils' school and sent with the entry. This is to confirm that the pupils are currently attending the school, they are in Year 7 or below and, to the best of the teacher's knowledge, the work has been completed by the pupils themselves.
The best entries will be displayed on Global Eye News (GEN). The piece of work judged to be the best entry will win your school the prize of the "Making Music On The Line" Teacher's Handbook, Music CD and Video. Winning pupils will also receive an audio CD of world music.
Please print out this form, get your teacher to fill in your details and post it with your completed project to:
