Mumbai has three seasons. April to June is summer when the temperatures are hot. The monsoon season lasts from June to October when it rains and rains. In the winter - November to March - it is cooler and drier.
But the climate in Mumbai is very different from mountains of the North-East of India where we visited in Spring 2002.
