Jack DaveMeet my mate, Dave the droplet. In June he dropped out of a cloud above Ethiopia onto a mountain range called the Ethiopian Highlands. From here he began a six month journey with billions of other droplets from Ethiopia, through Sudan and Egypt, and finally to the Mediterranean Sea.
Follow Dave on his journey.

Harry Wow, that was some journey! And what a lot of adventures Dave had along the way! Thinking about Dave's diary thoughts and scribbles:

Jack

  • What do you think was the most frightening part of my mate Dave's journey to the sea?
  • What was the most relaxing?
  • In what places was he moving fastest?
  • In what places was he moving more slowly?
  • Along the way, how might people stop some of his fellow droplets finishing their journey to the sea?

Cecille, Harry and Jack Visit Global Eye Primary Autumn 2001 to follow our journey down the Amazon in South America ... it may not be as long as Dave's journey down the Nile, but the Amazon is actually the biggest, fattest river of them all!
