Cecille We have to think about the way we use water during a drought but for many children and their families in the world it is an even greater problem. Click on the picture to find how hard it is for some children our age to find clean water.

Jack There is some good news, though. The charity, Water Aid helps children and their families around the world get clean water.

Cecille It's time for you to help me with my homework, guys. My teacher has asked me to pretend that I am eleven year old Rose Mbwawa from Mbabala, Tanzania on the WaterAid website I need to write two diary extracts, one from before WaterAid helped our village and one from after they helped us build a clean water supply. I need to include what was difficult before WaterAid visited and how life changed after they visited. I also have to write in the first person using words like 'I' and 'we' so it really sounds like Rose is writing it.
Use the diary below or print a template.

Harry Now it is time for some fun! Join me in playing WaterAid's game to work out how to get clean water to three villages in Nepal, Ethiopia and Ghana. Let's go!
