Links with www.wotw.org.uk/northsouth
A new website has been launched to help UK schools set
up links and partnerships with schools in Africa, Asia,
Latin America and The Caribbean. With this support, setting
up links with other parts of the world is much easier.
Links by post or e mail can grow into lasting partnerships,
including school visits in both directions. |

Would
you like your school to make a link with a school in a
developing country?
If so, ask your teacher to register on www.wotw.org.uk
|
Many schools in the UK
have already established links with schools in the developing
world. The three case studies here show that no links are
the same, yet all the schools involved agree that their partnerships
have given them a new and exciting way to learn about other
people and places.
Click
on the boxes below to find out about three of these school
links:

Recycling waste from Gloucestershire to Kisumu, Kenya

Linking Welsh speakers in Cardiff and Patagonia, Argentina

Linking a rural school in Gloucestershire with a city school
in Mumbai, India
