Harry Did The Gambia always look like this?

AbukaAbuka

Jack In the past, more of the Gambia was covered in trees but there is a great demand for wood. Most people cook over an open fire because other types of fuel are too expensive. Wood is also needed to make houses and boats. As trees are cut down faster than they can be replaced, deforestation of the land is changing the look of the landscape.
